Anne Nutt

Anne Dages Nutt
Owner

Anne joined the family business in 1994 after graduating from the University of Dayton and spending a few years in franchise development for both a regional and national chain.  As the third generation of the Dages family, Anne is the first female to join the business.  Upon joining the company, Anne returned to school to complete her degree in Interior Design.  Anne has seen the growth of Dages from one store to three under her guidance.  Nicknamed “Color Queen” by a customer, Anne loves working with customers and helping them transform their spaces – large or small.  Her #1 concern is her customers and creating long-standing relationships with each of her clients. Away from the store, Anne enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, exercising, traveling, gardening and music.

David Nutt
Manager — Germantown

Before joining Dages in 2001, David worked in graphic design and built custom ping pong tables. His formal education in fine arts sharpened his natural skills and talents in color tinting. He brings that knowledge and background into creating custom colors and stains for customers with unique needs. David has completed training in lacquer and wood finishes, earning the nickname “Stain Master.”  When David is not at the store, he can be seen running trails throughout the city and surrounding areas.  He is a huge sports fan and music buff – attending concerts and festivals whenever possible.  He loves outdoor adventure, cooking and spending time with his family.

Terry McKiernan
Manager — Middletown

With 22 years of industry experience, Terry heads the Shelbyville Road location. His extensive management background informs his approach to running the store and interacting with consumers. Terry accommodates his diverse clientele with a friendly and informative approach to customer service combined with a clean, convenient, organized and well-stocked store. “On Wednesday, he likes to ride his bike; on Thursday he likes walking through the zoo, and on Friday he likes to go painting at the Louvre.”

Justin Amburgey
Manager — Hikes Point

With a degree from the University of Kentucky and his additional background in both construction and business, Justin enjoys educating clients on new products and innovative ways to improve their businesses. He appreciates problem-solving in collaboration with customers and particularly likes showing people how to make their projects simpler and easier. Regardless of skill level, Justin wants every individual to feel confident in his or her ability to complete amazing transformations now and well into the future. Outside of work, Justin spends his free time with his beautiful wife, son, and daughter, enjoys playing a variety of sports and cheering on the UK Wildcats.

Cory Wallace
Assistant Store Manager — Hikes Point

Cory grew up in the paint industry and started his first official tenure with Hikes Point Paint and Wallpaper in 2002. He left briefly to travel the country working on industrial floor coatings but returned to the team in 2012. As the company’s unofficial fix-it man, Cory loves all aspects of his job and approaches each project and challenge with the same professionalism and enthusiasm. His greatest joy, however, is hearing back from the customers whose visions he has helped materialize.

Herb Armstrong
Inside Sales Rep.

Herb has 38 years’ experience in the industry. Across his lengthy career, Herb has worked behind the paint counter, in outside sales and even as an owner of several paint stores in Texas. In order to be closer to family, Herb sold his stores, retired and returned to Louisville. In retirement, Herb is fortunate enough to choose how to spend his time. That he chooses to spend it with friendly colleagues helping appreciative customers who value his extensive knowledge is a true testament to the Dages community.  Herb is an avid “old” country music buff and loves spending time at his house on the lake.

Tony Cecil
Inside Sales Rep.

With nearly three decades in the paint industry, Tony is familiar not only with paint counter operations but also with outside sales and even manufacturing. During his 11 years with Dages Hikes Point and Wallpaper, Tony has developed a focused, efficient and prompt approach to customer service. He combines that with a keen aesthetic and genuine love of both color and renovation projects. In addition to his work at Dages, Tony owns several real estate properties and enjoys restoring historic homes in his spare time.

Mickey Guenthner
Inside Sales Rep.

Mickey brings over three decades of design-related experience to his position at Dages. In addition to his 25 years of home theater design, Mickey has spent 12 years following his passion for custom furniture design. As a longtime, faithful customer of Hikes Point Paint and Wallpaper, Mickey decided to step behind the counter. Not surprisingly, he loves creating custom stains and helping customers turn their own visions into realities. Mickey spreads joy in his off time by doing charitable projects for friends, family, and organizations like Habitat for Humanity.

Tom Hornback
Inside Sales Rep.

Of Tom’s 45 years in the paint industry, he has been with Dages for over half. Tom is the only employee to work for all three generations of Dages Paint owners, and he enjoys the multi-generational customer relationships he has developed over that longevity. Tom has a background in store management, industrial coatings, and even design. Tom has a passion for performing arts and has volunteered for the Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Parade and the New York City Macy’s Parade. Tom likes to go to NYC to visit his grandchildren and see his son conduct on Broadway.

Chuck Siegel
Inside Sales Rep.

At the beginning of his career in the paint industry over four decades ago, Chuck received specialized, formal training and testing in products, multiple surface preparations, and color. Throughout his 20+ years at Hikes Point Paint and Wallpaper, Chuck has enjoyed utilizing his training in helping customers meet their unique challenges, particularly in custom tinting. He also enjoys giving tips to the young and less experienced DIYers just learning about the industry.  Outside of work, Chuck and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.

Tommy Broyles
Outside Sales Rep.

A 3rd generation painter, Tommy grew up in the industry. Over his 32 years at Hikes Point Paint and Wallpaper, Tommy has learned most everything there is to know about paint, wallpaper and window treatments. As a former contractor himself, he loves his role as an Outside Sales Representative, which allows him to bring his knowledge and experience directly to the consumer. An avid UL sports fan, particularly for UL women’s basketball, Tommy enjoys playing golf and spending time with this granddaughter who refers to him as “Granddaddy cool.”

Kevin Guesenhues
Outside Sales Rep.

Kevin brings 30+ years of industry experience to the outside sales team. Throughout his lengthy career in tinting, store management, and outside sales, Kevin has enjoyed establishing and maintaining close relationships with his clients, many of whom he has known for decades. On his free time, Kevin most enjoys spending time with his adorable grandchildren and hitting the links to play golf.
